On Saturday, I went for a bike ride out towards Draper. I wasn't sure where I was going, but thought I would just go with it. While out there, I decided to ride the big, steep hill to the Draper Temple. Things I learned along the way:
*It was hot!
*It was a steep, hard hill to ride!
*Always a beautiful view from the top!
*It just takes one step or pedal at a time to make it to the temple. (I was thinking about the Young Women)
*How grateful I am that I can do things like ride a bike and to the temple no less.
*How amazing it is to be able to just ride...wherever I want, whenever I want.
*How grateful I am that I didn't crash and burn....it really hurts when I do.
*If I ride too long, things on my body start to hurt...like my back end....I need a new seat :)
*I'm not along for the ride....I am on the ride and trying my hardest to get back!

Never Get Too Comfortable!
The other day I was talking to my friend telling her how great it was to be the secretary in Primary. It is kind of a "cush" job, but I really enjoy it. I should never had said that, because as soon as I did I knew I would probably get a new calling sometime soon.
Well.........a new calling came! I knew it....as soon as you get too comfortable in your calling, they move you out. My new calling is in Young Women's - 2nd councelor - over the Beehives...YEAH! I just love the Beehive girls, because they are the one's that are excited to be there and want to do everything, and are still excited to be there. I am excited to be back in the Young Women's organization. It feels like I just barely left....which it has only been 3 years. Someone accused me of presidency hopping!
I feel bad to be leaving Primary....I have loved working with the women in the presidency and loved being with the kids. They are so cute and know so much. Annie Cheney (primary pres.) said her boys were very upset that they were taking me out....ah, cute! Debbie Moore (coun. in primary) said her daughter gave an opposing vote during sacrament meeting and she had to pull down her arm....ah, cute! I have thoroughly enjoyed being in there!

Last Week is a Blur!
Since my last blog...
*Got sick and went to the doctor...told I had the common cold (didn't see my regular doctor). Got cough medicine with codeine and coughed right through it - ALL NIGHT! (Monday, June 29th) Was supposed to go to girls camp this week.
*Still sick on Tuesday...stayed home from camp. Should have went back to the doctor. Still coughed through the medicine and the night...ugh!
*Can't stand staying home...got up and went to camp. Yeah! Everyone missed me :). Coughed all the way home...shouldn't have gone. Mark gave me a blessing. Coughed ALL NIGHT, again!!!!!
*Slept most of Thursday....called doctor and begged to get in to see him. I didn't want to cough all night again. Went to doctor....diagnosis.....not the common cold, but early stages of pneumonia! Got the mother lode of cough medicine....very expensive but knocked me out for the night. YEAH! Got my antibiotics and life should be good soon.
*Went to Park City with the family on Friday....big shopping spree. I am tired!
*Happy 4th of July! I had to gear up so I took two naps before dinner and fireworks.
*Here I am today... I am so glad to have the worst of the coughing behind me!!! That was terrible. Thank goodness for doctors who will take the time to listen and find out what is wrong. Thanks goodness that we have church to go to and forget about all other worries for a while. Thank goodness for girl's camp that help build their testimonies. Thanks goodness for a great husband and kids who take care of me when I am under the weather. Thank goodness!

Today is my first day to write in my blog...
I went to listen to Mark speak in another ward today and he of course, did an excellent job. He always makes me cry, for one, and two, reminds me of why I am so grateful for him. I often wonder how I was able to snatch up such a great guy and get two great kids, also. Wow! I am blessed!
On our last anniversary, which was the big 21, I wrote down 21 reasons why I loved Mark...
21 Reasons Why I Love You
1. Your thoughtfulness

3. Your level-headedness
4. You are easy going – don’t let a lot of things rile you up

6. You have a great sense of humor – you can always make me & others laugh
